Dude! The perfect family vacation

Pine Butte Swamp Nature Conservancy Preserve, Montana, USA --- Horse riders take a trail from a nearby dude ranch through the Pine Butte Swamp Nature Conservancy Presereve in Montana. --- Image by Joel W. Rogers/CORBIS You've been to the seashore, you've been to those fancy resorts and maybe even on a cruise, and you've probably spent time and money taking in big city sights and shopping. Perhaps it's time to explore something new - or old - where you can get a sense of the Old West, enjoy wide open spaces from the back of a horse and maybe tame a wild trout.

More than just golf: Play in South Carolina!

HILTON HEAD, SC - APRIL 16: Aaron Baddeley of Australia hits a tee shot on the 13th hole during the final round of the Verizon Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links on April 16, 2006 in Hilton Head, South Carolina. (Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images) A few minutes past the Harbor Town lighthouse, a couple of hundred yards out in Calibogue Sound, our small motorboat idled down. We had seen a small group of excited kayakers closer to shore, and we had a pretty good idea of what generated the excitement.

Business Traveler Behavior And Attitudes

One in five Americans takes at least one business trip a year. Business travel and business travelers are both mature ? the typical traveler is 47 years old. What's more, 39% of US business travelers are women. The volume of Bookers ? people who buy their business travel online ? grew to 41% of US online business travelers. Clearly, technology remains important to business travelers, though technology for technology's sake won't do. Business travel technology must make travelers' lives easier by essentially disappearing into the background. That's especially true for road warriors, who take seven or more business trips a year and account for 23% of the market. Business travelers insulate themselves with entertainment devices both at home and on the road. Use of corporate booking engines ? once hailed as a revolutionary technology application ? appears to have stagnated.
